Our muscles hold more than tension—they can hold emotional and physical memory, too.
Sometimes that means years of built-up stress or life experiences can show up in the body as tightness or tenderness.
I’ve had a client who laughs while we work over really tender areas in the muscle. Some people get a little emotional, others feel a deep sense of relief.
There’s no “right” way for your body to release—everyone responds differently, and all of it is completely okay. 😌
