The strongest professionals in this industry aren’t competing with each other... they’re collaborating.

Our athletes trust us with their bodies and their performance, which means we also need trusted colleagues who can step in and provide the same level of care when opportunities take us elsewhere. That looked like Tyler, Heather, Melissa, and Sarah covering LOVB athletes, and Karen, Grace, and other LMTs supporting football players training with Better Athletes for Pro Day.

Relationships like these are what create opportunities, raise standards, and move our profession forward.

Recovery isn’t just about doing more.

Sometimes the answer isn’t another workout, another stretch, or another ice bath.

Massage therapy can help address deeper tissue restriction, improve circulation, and support better movement patterns as your body adapts to physical stress. It’s not just about temporary relief; it’s about helping the body recover more effectively between training sessions or after injury.

When recovery is approached intentionally, it can improve range of motion, reduce muscle guarding, and help restore normal function so you can keep doing the activities you enjoy!

Massage therapy is not only about what it can increase. It can also help decrease the physical and mental load your body carries.

Training, work, stress, and daily demands all activate the system. Recovery can allow it to settle.

When the body is able to downshift, it can restore more effectively and function more consistently over time.

Recovery is not just about building capacity. It is also about allowing space for regulation. 😌

Training might be important, but it’s rarely the only thing on your plate.

Most athletes and active adults are balancing lifting sessions with classes, careers, long shifts, meetings, travel, childcare, and everything in between. 😵‍💫

The mental load alone can influence how the body feels and responds.
Massage therapy supports more than muscle tissue. It can help manage stress, improve sleep quality, sharpen focus, and restore energy, all of which influence how you train and perform!

When life is full, recovery has to support more than just performance. 💆🏻‍♀️

Who knew relaxing could be difficult 😂

When you have dealt with pain or injury, your body often holds on a little tighter, and muscle guarding can become a habit.

Part of the process is helping the muscle recognize that it is safe to move normally again!

Preparing for USA Powerlifting Regionals requires more than just strong lifts; it requires recovery that keeps up.

Skyler came in with a list of issues preventing her from training her best. Within just a few weeks, she began noticing a significant difference in how her body felt between sessions: more recovered, more prepared, and ready to train. 💪🏼

Here’s what she shared:
“I began working with Amanda last year in preparation for my competition at USA Powerlifting Regionals. When I came to Amanda, I had perpetually tight hamstrings and hips, along with a shoulder aching with bicep tendinitis. After working with Amanda for just a few weeks, I already noticed a huge difference. My body always felt so much better recovered and prepared for my next training session. I was able to hit huge personal bests both in the gym and in the competition, and I couldn’t have done it without Amanda Rawson!”
