Q. The transmission in Lancaster County is green, why do we still have to wear masks and continue to screen at your facility?
A. First and foremost we want to make sure our residents and staff our safe and we don't spread COVID-19. Second, there are two maps that the CDC have. One is Community Levels, for the general public. According to the map, Lancaster County is green and relaxed regulations may be followed. Community Transmission map is what Healthcare Providers must follow. That map shows Lancaster County in Red (high transmission). We must follow the regulations when transmission is high, which is continue use of masks and COVID screening. The map on the right is what we must follow and the map on the left is for the general public.
