This is my journey I have been thru since 2017.
In 2017, I ended up having breast cancer in my right breast. I was very scared. But we beat it with surgery and radiation. I am very glad to say that to this day, I am cancer free. I was very well blessed.
In 2018, we were told I have kidney failure. My left kidney was pretty much gone and my right kidney was working for both kidneys.
June 2019 my sister got a call explaining things going on with me. The drs asked her permission to do emergency dialysis port in me to keep me alive. My sister told them to do what they needed to do to keep me alive. 2019 was a very hard yr for me. I was in and out if the hospital all yr long. I would be in there any where from a couple weeks to even a month at a time. We had close calls but I pulled thru. Wayne had to rush me to the hospital quite alot and even had to be taken in an ambulance. Needless to say I hate needles and hospitals. August 2019, I was at UNMC in Omaha Neb and had renal surgery. Being in and out of the hospital, I also had 3 seizures and 2 TIA'S (2 mini strokes) and of course I can't drive now and that drives me nuts. Believe I don't need to be any more nuttier than I am. LO.
I did dialysis at Divita South Lincoln Neb. They stood by my side and help me get better. They seen me half dead at first, to now doing better. I have now been doing home dialysis for 6 months now. I do it for 8 hrs a day and I do it at night while sleeping. Makes the days easier for appointments. November 30,2020 I had open heart surgery and they repaired my artica valve, removed the golf ball blood clot, and removed the port in my chest. On December 21,2020 I had to have 250cc fluid removed from my heart. But I am healing very well. I am in cardiac rehab 3 days a week.
I am on the kidney transplant list in Omaha Neb. If anyone is interested or anyone who knows anyone that can help, please talk to your drs to get information on what you have to do to donate a kidney. My blood type is B+.
Prayers, good vibes, thoughts, and even sharing this is more than appreciated.
All I'm asking is to please share and possibly help me get a kidney. I would just like to have my life back. Be able to walk more, play with my grandchildren and dogs more, to help clean my house, help do yard work. I would just like to have Tina back period.
