CFC's Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament is May 29th at Woodland Hills. The proceeds go to 24-hour addiction helplines and assisting families of individuals in addiction recovery with resources to ensure stability.

Creating Family Choices, received a very generous donation to assist with problem gambling treatment clients and problem gambling prevention education.

Thank you to the Harrah's Columbus team and Responsible Gaming leadership throughout Caesars. They are demonstrating the need of collaboration by all stakeholders in order to reduce gambling-related harm.

The heat cannot stop us from letting people know about free problem gambling treatment services in Nebraska!

Out at the Community Free Market at Seng Park in Lincoln until 11:30 letting folks know about the free treatment services available through the Nebraska Gamblers Assistance Program.

Sometimes the smallest of decisions can lead to great impact.

While the dollar amount of the donation was only $20, the act of making amends is such a huge demonstration of recovery-focused behavior.

The money returned to CFC was used to support our friends at Grace Chapel - Lincoln, NE with their drop-in program.

Stories like this are why Creating Family Choices is a valuable organization to those in recovery and their families.

Recovery is possible. There is always hope.

Yesterday was a beautiful day of golf (other than a twenty-minute thunderstorm) for a great cause!

Creating Family Choices' annual golf tournament and dinner took place yesterday. Proceeds from the day will assist Nebraska individuals and families struggling with addiction and mental health, multiple problem gambling crisis helplines, and problem gambling education services.

While we are still preparing for a great day on the course today at our golf tournament, our hearts are heavy this morning as we mourn the passing of our co-worker and friend, Nondo Moreno.

Nondo was a courageous fighter until the very end. The impact he made upon the recovery community in Lincoln was significant and noble.

Today's activities will be a celebration of recovery services in the Lincoln area, while honoring the contributions of our dear friend.

Rest in peace, Nondo.

Many Lincoln-area nonprofit organizations are gearing up for a busy month of fundraising in May, culminating with Give to Lincoln Day on May 30.

Creating Family Choices is also preparing for a busy month, culminating with our largest annual fundraiser, our celebrity golf tournament. What a great way to demonstrate the mission of Give to Lincoln Day and support a worthy cause by participating in our tournament at Woodland Hills on the final Thursday of May!
