It is with very heavy hearts that we share the memorial service information for Lisa Anderson, APRN, who passed away unexpectedly. Lisa was deeply loved by her patients, respected by her colleagues, and an important part of our CHP family. Her kindness, dedication, and gentle presence touched so many lives, and she will be profoundly missed.

We’re thrilled to introduce Dr. Amanda Sumner, one of our incredible Nurse Practitioners! 🌿

With nearly 15 years of diverse medical experience, Dr. Sumner brings compassion, expertise, and a deep commitment to patient care. A Johns Hopkins graduate and former Navy Nurse Corps Officer, she has served in specialties from surgery to labor and delivery, and now focuses on psychiatric and mental health care.

Dr. Sumner combines her medical background with a passion for integrative psychiatry, emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and nutrition.

Now calling Mills County, Iowa home, she enjoys life on her family’s hobby farm with her husband, children, and animals. 🐴🌾

Our co-founders Jen and Becky are spending the week in Oregon and Washington! Here’s what they’ve been up to:

They started in Salem, visiting the Mental Health Museum, then made their way to Oregon City—home to the End of the Oregon Trail. Next, they stopped by facilities in Portland, including Cameron Cares, before wrapping up the day in Vancouver, Washington, enjoying scenic bridge views and dinner with Lana. 🌲🌉

November is Home Care & Hospice Month! 🍩 Michelle stopped by Tabitha Home Health Care and Hospice today to drop off some doughnuts and thank their amazing team for everything they do. It was wonderful for her to see familiar faces and show appreciation for the comfort, care, and compassion they provide to patients and families every day.

🎃👻 Happy Halloween from CHP! 👻🎃

This October, our team got into the spooky spirit with some amazing community events! We had a blast joining for pumpkin painting and for their fantastic night of trick-or-treating. Plus, our wonderful marketer Michelle spread smiles (and sweets!) by delivering treats to our families and partners throughout the month.

CHP had the honor of attending Tabitha Health's annual Signature Event, themed “Harmony Through the Ages.”

Tabitha shared its amazing journey — from starting as an orphanage in 1886 to becoming a trusted senior care organization by the 1960s. We’re so thankful some of our incredible team members and their families were able to attend and show their support.

Thank you, Tabitha, for an inspiring night of celebration, community, and healthcare!

Yesterday our co-founders, Jen and Becky, made a trip to O’Neill — the Irish Capital of Nebraska! ☘️ They explored local favorites like the world’s largest shamrock, the Blarney Stone, and plenty of Irish charm along the way.
