"Lisa Hernandez exemplifies kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Her calm demeanor and steady presence provide healing and comfort to patients navigating the challenges of cancer.

Lisa recently supported a patient through a breast cancer diagnosis, leaving a deep and lasting impact. The patient called to share how Lisa's involvement transformed her care experience and even expressed a desire to raise awareness about the ONN role. She said, 'Lisa has been instrumental in the success of my care and cancer treatment. She has been such a unifier-bringing the members of my health care team together and keeping everyone updated about me.' Although the patient had a strong personal support system, she acknowledged that many patients do not-and emphasized how crucial the ONN role is in filling that gap.

Her dedication extends far beyond medical navigation. Lisa has provided compassionate care to a young, primarily Spanish-speaking mother undergoing breast cancer treatment. Lisa went out of her way to visit the patient's very young children during their mother's appointments."
