Sometimes when you're deep in the healing journey, it feels like you'll never run out of layers to expose and traumas to process. At some point though, you can begin to process in real time, with those new skills, and you can live in the present moment.

It takes a lot of courage to stop running. To accept that you are in a dumpster that you lit on fire. Most people just don't want to go there, and then their body will betray them eventually for the denial of their true self. But I can say from my own experience, that on the other side of the giant wall of self abandonment, there is a lot of personal power to be gained back. Everything you gave away to gain false love, everything you hid to keep it... comes back to you once you embrace your pain and accept your part in creating it. We want to blame the abuser, and in some cases (like for children) that's the end of it. But in adult relationships (friends, lovers, coworkers) we teach people how to treat us. We allow manipulation and abuse, we allow resentment to build in ourselves, we choose everything we allow by lacking boundaries. That totally sucks to realize! But the empowerment comes in realizing that you can simply put up boundaries at any time, and people can accept them or leave.

Once you have those skills, you can put up a boundary, you can feel feelings in real time, you can do things scared... I promise you, you will call in the most beautiful life for yourself. Don't forget to love the journey, even when it's dark and scary. On the other side is the love you deserve, because it's everything you gave away, waiting to return to you.

I want to finally heal out loud, and I'm bringing all you lovely people with me. I carry generations of exploitation and trauma, a lifetime of self abandonment, and the weight of feeling too much. I was a self destructive person, chasing chaos to avoid the empty pit in my stomach. My fire burned out to embers, because the people who brought kindling took it back to their own hearths, and never fed me. But I am finally the phoenix in my own story, and I need to show you that you can fly too. So many good things are on the horizon this year!

But I just want you to know, that my space and work is a sacred container for the heaviness your body carries around. Let us unwind it and let it go. As always, pair my work with therapy and other holistic modalities and a support team. If you're a mental health therapist, let's have a 1:1 and I'd love to talk about how my work can support yours. If you're a person who feels like your body is still stuck in the past and you want to let yourself move forward, I'm ready to hold space for you when you are.

I've had some really amazing chats with clients and friends recently, about being loud about being a witchy alien weirdo, and how important it is that we get open and odd, that's how we find each other! The highest frequency is authenticity, and the more we sing our own tune, we are able to hear those who naturally harmonize with us. Dropped this bomb on a friend and it was for me too... a big block to our own inner work is admitting our own hand in our self abandonment and subsequent inter personal pain. Oof. Forgive past you from operating from your wounds, and make the next step from your healed self, even if you don't know them yet. Fake it til you make it actually does help here, ask yourself what the favorite version of you would do, and just inch towards that every day. The way will open up.
