Serving Lincoln Seniors with Heart ❤️

In December 2025, The Knolls proudly hosted a Silent Auction Fundraiser benefiting the Dial 4 Seniors Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of our residents and friends, we raised $1,643!

As requested by our caring residents, $1,000 of those funds were donated to Tabitha Meals on Wheels—a program that has been serving Lincoln since 1967 as the first of its kind in our community.

Access to proper nutrition is often one of the last factors allowing seniors and those with disabilities to remain safely at home. Today, Tabitha delivers a hot, noon meal to hundreds of clients each day—along with something just as important: a friendly face and a safety check for many who may not see another person all day.

We are so proud to support this incredible mission. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible! 💙

Holiday magic filled our community as Santa stopped by to spread cheer and smiles! From visits with Santa, to a beautifully decorated tree surrounded by presents, to the joy of residents picking out a special gift—it is was a season full of warmth, laughter, and Christmas spirit.

This week, our residents enjoyed festive Christmas light bus tours, taking in the sparkle, music, and magic of the season together. From cozy rides to joyful smiles, it was a wonderful way to make merry memories throughout our community.

Our Ladies Who Lunch recently enjoyed a visit to one of their favorite dining spots, The Green Gateau 💚

What made the outing even more special was sharing the experience with Bev Livengood, who returned to the very restaurant she co-founded. Years later, sitting down to enjoy a meal with her friends from The Knolls, it was a beautiful reminder that great ideas—like great food—truly stand the test of time.
