Coleman Westerby, DPT is a native of Grand Island, NE where he participated in wrestling, football, baseball, and advanced lifting. He graduated from University of Nebraska at Omaha and earned his doctorate in Physical Therapy with honors at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). During his time at UNMC, he helped develop interdisciplinary training and tutoring programs that are still used throughout the entire College of Allied Health at UNMC.
Since his graduation he has practiced Physical Therapy in Omaha where he has been honing his skills and continuing his education focusing on lower back pain management, balance, organized and recreational sports, weight-lifting, and chronic pain/conditions relating to neurological disorders.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys dedicating his time to his wife Alyssa and son Tatum for family workouts, gratitude sessions, movie nights, game nights, or cheering on the Husker football and wrestling teams, as well as, Iowa State Cyclones sports (which he reluctantly does because he married into it). Any additional free time Coleman has is spent enjoying the outdoors or being active: lifting, skateboarding, cycling, hiking, golfing, and any pick-up game sport. He is excited to bring his experience and expertise to Advanced Physical Therapy, and will be accepting patients in July.
