This system ensures doors remain locked unless authorized individuals possess the code or we recognize your child as a current client. This prevents unauthorized entry and eliminates the risk of children opening doors without assistance.

May is Better Hearing and Speech Month, and today is SLP Day! I am so thankful for the wonderful group of SLPs I get to work alongside each day. We are so excited to have Anna Brooke, owner at Millard Counseling, join in with us! Here is some information from her:

My name is Anna Brooke Millard and I opened Millard Counseling as a way to provide mental health support to children and teens in the Talladega County area & surrounding counties. I have experience working with children and teens in areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, anger management, and behavioral issues. By using play therapy, client-centered talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and more I aim to provide a safe space to create personalized therapeutic support for you and your children. I offer in person or online services (for teens). I currently accept BCBS & All Kids insurances as well as private pay.

1. We moved!! We are now located in Lincoln, AL sharing the Joyful Noise Therapy Group building with some amazing speech & occupational therapists. Millard Counseling is still a mental health therapy practice working with children and teens.
