Come enjoy a glass of ice herbal tea, delicious food from Pepe's Bistro while browsing vintage clothes and stained glass art from our other vendor buddies. Upcoming Summer Classes at SCC 🌻🐝

Preserving Your Herbal Harvest, Monday, July 14th 6:30-8pm at SCC Continuing Education Center (68th and O St in Lincoln)

Hebal Elixirs, September 8th 6-8pm at SCC Continuing Education Center. A refreshing celebration for the end of summer!

Recent programs with Community Crops and Bohdi Imports were such a sweet success! Big thanks to all 30 of you who came out to the urban growers class last night! These events were all at capacity, but there are still spaces available for SCC Summer programming.

I'll be back at Morrill Hall later this month for two of their summer day camps. Plants and play are where it's at! Please reach out with questions about upcoming programming or scheduling an event for your group. There are endless ways to connect plants and people. Updates: Tomorrow evening's flower essence class at Bohdi Imports is sold out. Thanks to everyone who registered!

Tomorrow is also Community Crops annual Garden Party, 10-1pm at Gere Library (outside by the garden). Vi and I will be there sharing herbal tea and leading a Mugwort wand making activity. Free and fun for everyone!

The Garlic harvest is complete 🧄 A few of these braids will be available at my next pop-up 7/27 at Curio. Their Sunday Pop-up series starts this weekend and the weekly lineup is stellar.

Oats are harvested and a medicine I've been leaning into big time lately. A nice cozy blanket for the nerves 🌾

This morning at the Paleobotany and Modern Plants camp at Morrill Hall a young person exclaimed that they've found their calling and would like to be an herbalist so they can play with plants everyday. Me too :)

Beaming bright summer wishes to us all. Planting seeds for the new world we're growing into existence. Trust kids. Compost ICE and the fascist police state. Much love for a greener tomorrow 💚

Fun for everyone this Saturday! Community Crops annual Garden Party is at Gere Library 10-1pm. My daughter and I will be set up with herbal iced tea, medicinal plant coloring pages and a wand making project. Free 🌻🌞

Hey, yall! We have our Flower Essence Class coming up this Saturday from 630-8 pm with Alex of Arise Botanicals. We will learn about what a flower essence is, how to create one, and make one to take with us. As someone who uses flower essences daily, I'm so thrilled to be hosting this class at Bodhi! The cost is $25 and we have only 6 spots available. If you'd like to reserve your spot, please contact Bodhi directly to do so.

Flower essences are liquid extracts, often preserved in alcohol, that capture the energetic imprint of a flower's healing properties. They are used to address emotional and mental imbalances by influencing the subtle energy fields of the body.

Welcoming Autumn with 3 upcoming markets 🍂

Tomorrow, Saturday 10/26 from 11-3pm will be celebrating the local creative community with a Halloween edition of this popular market. Arise Botanicals will be vending all the herbal goods alongside a variety of makers. Come for live music, food and handmade goods you won't find anywhere else! Hosted by the best vegan bistro in town at 11th and B St.

Next Sunday I'm looking forward to bringing the pop-up apothecary to
for their holiday market alongside several other lovely local vendors. 10am-3pm at 3601 Calvert St. The holiday season is such an important time to buy local and this market has a stellar lineup of vendors.

And looks for me back at Pepe's Bistro on Saturday November 9th from 11am-3pm for
Basket Bonanza! Sweet Minou chocolate and Empower Me Flower will be joining us and I know it will be a delight.

The pop-up apothecary will be stocked with syrups, elixirs, loose leaf teas, salves, tinctures and more. Fire Cider has been very popular these past few weeks and is in limited supply. I'll also have Reishi Cocoa, Earth&Ashes smoke blend and other faves. Reach out if you're hoping to restock on a particular formula or blend and I can have your order ready to pickup at any of these markets. I also offer self-serve pickup anytime from the customer cabinet located outside my home/garden (near Woods Park).

Catch Arise Botanicals at on Saturday the 17th from 4-8pm for the Summer Vendor Garden. There will be over 30 other botanically minded vendors, plus delicious food from Pepe’s Bistro, drinks, ice cream and more.

The pop-up apothecary will be stocked with teas, tinctures, salves, body spray, elixirs and I’m running a sale on Elderberry Syrup until it runs out.

These waning summer days are feeling charged with uncertainty. Change is in the air. I’m looking forward to seeing some of your lovely faces and offering up grounding remedies from the garden as we moving forward into Monday’s full moon and the wild beyond.
