We’re hiring: Full-Time Maintenance Technician (55+ Condominium Community)
We’re a well-established 55+ condominium community that values safety, respect, and top-notch upkeep. Our residents take pride in their homes, and we’re looking for a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our property safe, clean, and well-maintained.
What you’ll maintain
• Common areas of a 140-unit condominium building
• Grounds/building systems of two adjacent townhome communities (52 units)
(Homeowners maintain their own residences—this role focuses on shared spaces and exterior/common systems.)
Key duties
• Preventive maintenance: doors, lighting, vents, drains, HVAC, and general building systems
• Routine property inspections and minor repairs
• Coordinate and oversee vendors/contractors for specialized work
• Trim bushes/trees; apply ice melt and clear sidewalks as needed
(Lawn mowing and snow removal if more than 2 inches is handled by contractors
• Order/pick up supplies (reliable vehicle required)
• Follow safety procedures and building codes
• Keep maintenance logs/records
What we’re looking for
• 3+ years property/building maintenance experience
• Solid skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and hand/power tools
• Irrigation systems knowledge a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical work
• Valid driver’s license + reliable vehicle
• Full Background check required and references required
• Professional communication with residents, HOA Board, and vendors
Schedule
• Full-time (40 hrs/week)
• Monday–Friday
Pay & benefits
• $22–$25/hour (based on experience)
• Paid time off
• On-site position (location details shared during interview)
