Thank you for giving us the opportunity to provide total dental care for your child. Dr. Tom Milius and the staff at Children's Dentistry of Lincoln sincerely welcome you to our practice. Our primary goal is to help prevent cavities in your children's teeth and to teach your children how to remain cavity free for life. We will do everything possible to provide the best and most comfortable dental care so that children will have good dental experiences as they grow older. Our approach to your child will be one of the same tenderness and love which we would expect someone to show our own children. Most children are a little nervous about their first dental visit, and our office has been designed with this in mind. We are unique in our arrangement so that we can treat our patients with minimal stress and anxiety. Our dental chairs are arranged in an open bay instead of isolated rooms. This allows interaction with others and allows children to follow the positive models of others. Research has shown that, regardless of age, this open-design concept is extremely effective in reducing stress. It is comforting for your child to be able to observe the interaction between other patients and our staff in this open atmosphere.
