Each year, CHI Health Immanuel Rehabilitation Institute and Nebraska Adaptive Sports put on a week-long camp for wheelchair athletes ages five through high school. This year's camp was a huge success, including athletes from Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas!

The camp introduces these athletes to different kinds of adaptive sports - from wheelchair softball to hand cycling. Beyond sports, the camp fosters friendship and shows these kids their full potential.

Celebrating over 1,000 TAVR cases at CHI Health Nebraska Heart Hospital! Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) is a minimally invasive treatment for symptomatic severe aortic valve stenosis. CHI Health Nebraska Heart Hospital was 1st in Nebraska to perform TAVR in 2011 and offer a full spectrum of care for structural heart & valve patients. Our patient's care is streamlined - in most cases patients visit the hospital only twice; one for the evaluation & another for the actual procedure.
