As a therapist, I work collaboratively with individuals to explore their distinctive needs and selves. I can help you explore what is keeping you from being the person you want to be and pursue what you value in life. My style is warm, authentic, and genuine, with a balance of humor and sitting with difficult emotions. One of my goals is to develop a therapeutic environment that is accepting, though not avoidant of confrontation, supportive, though not enabling, and safe, but not unchallenging. I have experience and interest in working with individuals experiencing lifestyle issues (changing fitness/eating habits, smoking cessation), depression, anxiety, relationship issues, LGBTQ related issues, grief, loss, experiential concerns, identity issues, transition difficulties, and eating disorders. I enjoy working with people in individual and process group therapy. I also offer psychological, ADHD, Learning Disability, intellectual, and personality assessments. If you have any questions or would like to find out more about what therapy with me would look like, I would be happy to speak with you in the phone or in person for a free consultation.
