The Woods has had a long-standing connection with Shri Yoga, a nonprofit studio dedicated to making yoga accessible to all. Back in 2016, I (Christine) personally had the honor of teaching there, and when we opened The Woods Yoga, partnering with Shri felt like a natural next step. Since then, we’ve proudly hosted a weekly seniors’ class, bringing movement, community, and support to those who need it most.

Yoga has the power to transform, heal, and connect—and Shri has been doing that every single day. That’s why I’m raising funds for them. Your support helps keep their programs thriving and accessible to everyone, regardless of circumstance.

UPDATE: Just got word he was picked up by Smithfield animal control on Mineral Spring Ave. They’re closed but we’re heading there now anyway just in case someone is there. We have been told a large group of people stopped and tried to help, they were able to get him into a neoghborhood and animal control was called.

Thank you to all the kind, animal loving people out there. We will never be able to fully express our gratitude.

We will post an update once we have him in our arms again.

MISSING DOG NORTH PROVIDENCE/LINCOLN: Jack darted out front door around 2pm today (Monday 8/11) in Louisquisset condos on the Angell Road side. He is friendly and food motivated, more comfortable with women and not wearing a collar. He’s a blonde terrier about 24lbs. Please keep an eye out and contact me if he is seen or found.

What’s semi-private?
Our infrared saunas are 3-seaters but we allow two people max. Each sauna has plenty of space to stretch out solo or sit comfortably with one other person. You might have the place to yourself… or you might sweat in silence with a fellow guest. (No small talk required.)

*For health and safety reasons, unlimited really means one session per day.
