Power outage in our Downtown Lincoln district… I rushed to the tearoom to take care of our refrigeration without power for hours… some food inventory was lost but thankfully it was a small amount. Please help support our neighbors who needed to close down and lost inventory and business.

⚠️ Community Update 😔
Downtown Lincoln was without power for most of the morning. For our small businesses, your neighbors and your friends, this meant cancelled appointments, lost income, spoiled food inventory, and staff hours being cut.

While power has now been restored, I can’t help but feel how overwhelming this must have been for everyone, as they are our friends, our neighbors, and part of the community that always shows up for us when we need them.

In the next few days, we ask you to be extra intentional with your choices. Stop in, shop local, and dine nearby. Every visit and every purchase helps our locally owned businesses recover from this unexpected hardship.

2) Herbed chicken salad on a butter croissant
3) Cucumber dill on buttermilk bread

September is a special month for me. Both of my children came into my life in September! My daughter on Sept 12th through adoption in China. My son on Sept 30th born at Sutter Roseville. I look back on those special moments with such great joy in my heart. Each a unique journey but equally so special and precious to my heart. September is the month we see gentle changes in nature.. the leaves begin to turn.
The weather begins to soften just a bit from its harsh heat. Gentle reminders that a new season is upon us. It's like life.. there are seasons. I'm in my Nena (aka grandma season) right now and loving it so much. Let's reflect on the beautiful seasons of our lives as we enter this month of September with much gratitude 💕
