URGENT: ABA Rate Cuts Coming to Nebraska

Starting August 1, 2025, Nebraska Medicaid will slash reimbursement for ABA services:

🔻 47% cut to 1:1 direct therapy
🔻 38% cut to BCBA protocol modification

These cuts threaten access to critical care for thousands of families—Medicaid and private insurance alike.

- Providers may leave
- Clinics may close
- Families may lose services

Families affected by autism:
The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services posted a provider bulletin
https://dhhs.ne.gov/Medicaid%20Provider%20Bulletins/Provider%20Bulletin%2025-14.pdf
that announced the reduction of as much as 78% for ABA services delivered to our Medicaid families
starting August 1st. Providers will not be able to deliver services with this huge rate cut.

on our kids. You can also call 402-471-9092.
We were able to stop United Healthcare’s ABA rate cut last fall and now we have to work hard to ensure the state doesn’t do it now.
