✨ You’ve probably seen the round marks from cupping on athletes — but what does it actually do?

Cupping therapy uses gentle suction to:
✔️ Improve circulation
✔️ Loosen tight muscles + fascia
✔️ Speed up recovery after injury or workouts
✔️ Decrease pain and stiffness

It’s not just for elite athletes — many of our patients find relief with cupping as part of their treatment plan.

💡 Curious if cupping could help you? Ask us at your next session!

🏌️‍♂️ The Single Leg Bridge Test is one of the key TPI screens we use to see how well your glutes, core, and hamstrings are firing.

With this test we are looking to see if you can hold this position for at least 10sec with no cramping, hip dropping, or shaking.

Give it a try and comment down below if you would like to see some exercises to help improve your stability!

Why does it matter for golf?

✅ Strong, stable glutes = more power in your swing
✅ Core control = better consistency
✅ Muscle imbalances = higher risk of pain or injury

At Peak Physical Therapy, we use this test (and others) to uncover the “weak links” that could be holding back your swing — then build a tailored plan to correct them.

Better movement = better golf. ⛳️

🏌️‍♂️ Your golf swing lives (or dies) in your mid-back.

If your thoracic spine can't rotate, your swing will:

🛑 Lose power
🛑 Feel stiff
🛑 Put extra stress on your low back

Swipe ➡️ for 4 simple exercises to unlock better rotation.

More rotation = more clubhead speed, smoother mechanics, and less risk of injury!

Train your body like a golfer, not just your swing. ⛳️

Fun Fact Friday

Good movement patterns are like good habits—train them often, and your body will react before you even think about it!

Whether you’re swinging a golf club, picking up your grandkids, or just reaching for that last cookie 🍪… your body’s speed matters!

Keep it strong. Keep it quick. Keep it moving. 💪
