🎶School's out for summer! 🎵

Educators, now it is your time to enjoy the break, focus on your self-care and the time away from school. Spend it by the pool, get a strength workout in, walk on the indoor cushioned track or play pickleball with friends.

Regardless of what capacity you work in as an educator, Madonna Wellness Club is showing our appreciation for you in the month of June. Check out the club on a free 2-week trial to see if we're the right fit for your next gym membership!

Present your ID badge to the front desk to receive a complimentary trial. Be sure to do this by Tuesday, June 16th to take advantage of the full two-weeks. This is because facility access ends for trials on Tuesday, June 30th.

Join Andrea in her workshop this Friday, May 29th at 4:30 p.m.!

Back by popular demand are Andrea's workshops focusing on controlled articular rotations (CARs) and self-myofascial release (SMR). The fascia is a network of thin covering over all of our muscles and between various layers of muscles. At the fascial gets tight, it can cause discomfort, tension and soreness. SMR and CARs can help loosen up and hydrate the fascia to release some of the tension, soreness and discomfort while increasing mobility!

The workshop takes place in the meditation room at Madonna Wellness Club.

Even if you took this in February, it never hurts to take it again. This time you can ask the questions that have come up in the last 3 months, enhance the techniques you've been using and receive more guidance.

Limited space is available. Sign up before all spots are full!

Nutrition Tip Tuesday!

As leafy greens become more 'in-season' and as you purchase them from the store or farmer's market, keep this in mind. 🧠

🥬 Let greens breathe (but don’t let them dry out!)
Refrigerate leafy greens in an airtight container lined with a paper towel. The towel absorbs excess moisture to prevent sliminess, while the container keeps greens crisp and protected in the fridge.

MONDAY
Memorial Day has revised facility hours and select group fitness classes.
Facility Hours are 5:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with the following classes:
8:30 a.m. Strength 45 w. Darren

9:30 a.m. Zumba w. Kristin
10:30 a.m. Yoga w. Melanie

TUESDAY
The year long health and wellness program designed to support individuals who are pre diabetic or wanting to improve their lifestyle. Meet once a week for the first six months, followed by six months of monthly meetings. Two options to choose from, either day time or evenings!

THURSDAY
Empowered Relief pain management workshop is a curriculum developed by Stanford University taught by one of Madonna's physical therapists who is certified to teach and guide participants through managing chronic pain. Walk away feeling more empowered to take control of your pain. Attend virtually from the comfort of your own home at 6:00 p.m..

FRIDAY
Join Andrea in her next rendition of CARs and Myofascial Release, this time focused on releasing tension along the spine. Learn range of motion movements, mobility techniques and how to use self myofascial release tools. Workshop begins at 4:30 p.m..
