May Employee of the Month.

May was a very tough month to pick EoM. My whole team works so hard each and every day for these kids.

Huge shoutout to our May Employee of the Month, Vanessa. Vanessa started with us as a Behavioral Therapist in August of 2024. Since then, she has become a Registered Behavioral Therapist. As a proud Cape Verdean immigrant, she obtained her B.S. in communicative disorders from URI. She plans on becoming a Speech Language Pathologist in the very near future, so she can remain working with and advocating for children on the spectrum. I can not wait to see her grow into this profession. She has such a big heart and cares deeply about these kids. We are incredibly lucky to have her as a member of our team!

April Employee of the Month: Meghan!

Meghan has been with us since August 2024. Meghan came to us with work experience in the world of caring for people, but not with Autism. She has been a sponge for knowledge and gives her all everyday with our clients. Meghan is another tech that is mentioned every month for EOM. Not only is Meghan an amazing tech and great with any client she works with, but she is also tattoo artist after she leaves here. She coordinated our Flash Tattoo fund raiser we had in April. I admire her drive and passion for whatever work she is doing. Keep it up Meghan! You deserve it!

I am so sorry that this post has taken me so long! I have to give a shout out to our March employee of the month.

Allie has been with us for almost a year. She came in with experience with kids, but no experience with Autism. Allie has been an incredible tech since the day she started. She has earned her RBT certification and continues to impress me each and every day with her ever growing experience. Allie's name is brought up every single month as a candidate for Employee of the Month. I know that Allie is looking to obtain her masters degree within the Psychology field. Whichever direction she goes in, she is going to make such a big difference in the peoples lives that she helps. I am selfishly hoping she chooses the BCBA life, but that is totally up to her. Keep it up Allie!!!

February 2025 Employee of the Month!

I would love for everyone to give Molly a round of applause!

Molly planned and coordinate our Valentines Day Craft Fair in February. She started working with SOS Lincoln as an RBT in May of 2024. Molly was also one of the first employees hired with SOS Lincoln and has been a part of the team since before we opened doors. She has been working with kids for the past 8 years. She volunteered at a residential school for autism her sophomore year of high school and knew right away that she could make a difference in children's lives. She is currently working on her Masters degree so she can continue to work with children as a counselor.

I can not say enough nice things about Molly! She also designed and painted (with one other employee) the mural right next to our ball pit. You have earned Employee of the Month and then some! You have and are going to continue to make a difference in so many kids lives!
