If you’re looking for some grounding work in life, or as the season starts to change, this is for you ✨ Finding the time to check in with yourself is more important than ever right now, connecting with the story that is unfolding in the moment. It’s here that we learn to embrace and be, authentically.

In this one hour will explore the body and mind with a somatic movement and inner awareness practice.

Recommended that you have a yoga mat or soft place to lay down for the practice.

To reserve a spot please visit my link in bio for email. 🤍

midline :: a subtle, imaginary line down running down the center of the body that divides the left and right side. It’s the ability to reach across the middle of the body with the arms and legs. Instrumental in child development and as we age because it helps us complete every tasks such as writing, reaching, playing, putting shoes on, brushing your teeth...you know, the very things we take for granted. Our abilities are so precious when we take the time to think about them.

Life events, aging, inflammation and injury can affect our ability to do these things (impact, environmental, trauma). Keeping the cerebellum healthy or repairing it post injury/event is critical. For example, why is the left side of my body so “locked up” with reoccurring pain in certain areas? The cerebellum is the TREE OF LIFE, the roots of the brain. If it’s not working well, the rest of the brain will be affected.

Movement + brain activity is key. Many, many ways to don this...yoga, riding a bike, physical therapy, swimming, music, somatics, dancing...create the healthy muscle tone. Even if you can’t do the actual activity...THINK about doing it. The brain is fascinating.

Fuel the brain 🤍

A quick clip from a segment I made to describe the work of trauma recovery movement. My training and a lot of the language I use comes from my training with Jane Clapp and somatic practices.
