Today, and every day, we say "thank you" to all veterans and those who continue to serve our country.

Often, post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, can be common among combat veterans. Some symptoms of PTSD include:

• Feeling "on alert" or easily startled
• Having trouble sleeping
• Struggling to manage daily activities
• Experiencing disturbing thoughts or feelings

If you or someone you know is experiencing PTSD symptoms, our therapists are ready to provide the help and support needed.

Congratulations Abbe!

Join us in congratulating Abbe Edgecombe as the new Director of Stepping Stones, SCIP, and LMEP Compliance!

Abbe began her career at LMEP in 2002, working at Stepping Stones. She moved into her role with the School Intervention & Prevention Program (SCIP) in 2015. We asked Abbe what she was looking forward to the most in her new role.

"Over the past 23 years, I have had the opportunity to grow professionally within LMEP, taking on roles with both Stepping Stones and SCIP. Building relationships with my team members and the patients, families, and schools these programs serve has always been a source of professional motivation. I am excited to gain opportunities to foster new relationships and collaborate with a wider range of colleagues and leaders across different departments who share in the mission and vision of LMEP."
