The Wolf Moon of 2026 is the first full moon of the year and also a supermoon, meaning it appears larger and brighter than usual.

The Wolf Moon carries powerful energy for the new year, amplifying themes of self-reflection, resilience, and new beginnings. Being a supermoon in the sensitive sign of Cancer, its effects may feel more intense, encouraging deep emotional work and connection to home and family.

During this full moon, bring awareness back inward. Focusing on:

✨️Introspection and Self-Reflection: The quiet winter period encourages turning inward to examine what you want and don't want in your life.

✨️Renewal and New Beginnings: As the first full moon of the year, it offers a cosmic reset, ideal for setting grounded intentions and releasing outdated habits and beliefs from the past year.

✨️Inner Strength and Resilience: The moon's energy symbolizes the perseverance needed to navigate challenges, reminding you of the strength you've gained from surviving past difficulties.

✨️Intuition and Inner Guidance: It's a time to trust your instincts and listen to your "inner voice" instead of external noise, helping you connect with your inner truth.

✨️Community and Connection: Drawing on the wolf's pack mentality, this moon emphasizes the importance of family bonds, supportive relationships, and community.

✨️Emotional Healing and Clarity: The alignment in the emotional water sign of Cancer brings focus to personal feelings and home life, offering an opportunity to process and let go of emotional clutter.

You can harness the energy of this full moon by engaging in practices such as journaling, meditation under the moonlight, or performing a cleansing ritual to clear your space and mind.

Yoga is a practice of connecting the body, breath and mind. The word yoga comes from the sanskrit root which means to "join" or "to unite." Each week, we dive into our practice together in one room yet individually on our own mats. What ones practice means to them may be different from one practicing next to them.

Join us each week at Soulful Wellness Collective for yoga. Bring stillness to your mind while moving your body with the connection of your breath.

Regina Klokkenga Yoga offers yoga on Mondays at 10am. Meet on the mat for a yin yoga practice. This practice focusing on easing deep into a pose while using props.

Nikki Chapman Yoga & Holistic Healing offers yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesday yoga brings a gentle flow with focus on bodymind connection. Thursday yoga allows you to bring your week to an end with a yin/restorative practice. This class uses props to surrender your body into a passive state while giving your mind time to let go.

We look forward to meeting you on the mat.

***TAROT CARD READING***

Hello to the Collective, Nikki Stevens here! On this New Year's Eve, we can all breathe a Collective sigh of relief, that we made it to the end. This coming year, 2026, feels different. We are moving into the new year with wisdom and calm, as opposed to excited, hyperactive energy. We are being more cautious, more grounded, and more authentic. I've noticed a shift in the people around me. We want stability, we want comfort, we want peace. While the new year for some brings unknown possibilities, I think a lot of people are looking for more consistency, nurturing, and familiarity. We are tired and want rest. I hope this new year feels safe and stable for all of you. I hope you find the strength and discipline to quiet your mind, and choose your movements with intention, purpose, and clear direction. That being said, the card I pulled for today to lead us into the new year is...

4 of Wands: Completion.
(Card drawn at random from the Witches Tarot Deck )

The Four of Wands tarot card signifies celebration, harmony, homecoming, and stability Marking a happy milestone, or period of rest after hard work, often relating to home, family, or community success, Symbolizing a joyful gathering, a marriage, or feeling secure in one's foundation. It's a card of joyful completion, stability, and the reward of creative efforts, representing peace, prosperity, and a sense of belonging.

Breathe and let go, my loved ones, my family, my friends. Chaos reminds us what is actually important in our lives: consistency, routine, discipline, authenticity. We've got this; together. Choose you. Choose comfort. Choose calm. Choose simplicity. Choose love.

Big hugs from me, big hugs from the Universe. We will be okay. We are creative, determined, and honestly just the right amount of pi**ed off to choose change.

Thank you all for your support, for reading my posts, and for being a part of my life. We are lotuses in the mud together.

Love to you, and namaste (the LIGHT within me, recognizes the LIGHT within you!) 💜🪷🌌

Hi everyone, Jake here with an update on my yoga journey.

My 200hr yoga teacher certification is winding down with only 3 more weekends to go. My final exam, or checkout, is a 60 minute class that I teach to my instructors and am graded on. It's becoming so very real that quite soon I will be a certified yoga instructor!

To that, I want to inform everyone of my plans moving forward. I will start out doing a flow class on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 at The Soulful Wellness Collective on 5th St in Lincoln, IL. Eventually I plan to teach on Mondays as well but I want to ease into my teaching journey. Stay tuned for more updates. We've been busy remodeling, we're in the process of a website buildout, and awaiting design of our new outdoor signage. Our growth is a testament to everyone who has supported our collective and we can't wait to start offering even more at our space!
