Throwback to last weekend when we celebrated this pretty princess in pink and purple. Her love for unicorns hasn’t wavered since she was 1 year old. She knows what she likes and refuses to deviate. That being…unicorns, wearing “pretty dresses”, doing anything and everything her big sister does, playing sports (especially soccer), riding her bike and scooter “super fast”, taking care of her baby dolls and coloring with her sister, pretending to be a doctor to Dad, reading stories with Mom, and being silly with her brother. ⁣

Thankful for the 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 to run.

Running makes me a better wife, a more patient mom, a less stressed colleague, mentally tougher, physically stronger, healthier, calmer, and I could go on…but what I really love is what the running community does to make this world a more beautiful place. ⁣
⁣
I witnessed so much joy in the smiles and cheers from the crowd-lined course, selfless support from the traffic and water station volunteers, endearing motivation from fellow runners, and especially the love from my personal fan club who was with me along the way. You all were the best last weekend. ⁣
⁣
I’ll always remember the high-fives from my littles at the race. Getting to return the favor on the soccer field shortly after the same day is an even greater 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 I’ll never take for granted. ❤️ ⁣
