Our program offers the following degrees: 4 year traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), RN-BSN, Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)- Education or Administration, and an MSN/MBA degree. Traditional BSN
The Nebraska Wesleyan University Pre-Licensure BSN program offers a traditional 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree combining clinical and foundational knowledge including
liberal arts courses to receive a more comprehensive education. RN-BSN
Registered Nurses who complete a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Wesleyan Advantage will receive more training in areas such as communication, leadership, and critical thinking, all of which are becoming more important as nursing practice becomes more complex. Additionally, a Wesleyan Advantage BSN will provide you with greater knowledge of health promotion, disease prevention, risk reduction, health assessment, illness and disease management, nursing theories, research, and evidence-based practice and community health. MSN
The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree prepares students to be leaders in the field of nursing as nurse educators, administrators, and managers. The curriculum offers students a choice between two tracks: one focusing on the nurse as educator and one on the nurse as leader and manager. The MSN program is open to two career paths: those who have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN to MSN) and those who are Registered Nurses (RN to MSN). Post Masters Certificate in Nursing
The Nebraska Wesleyan University Post Masters Certificate in Nursing program prepares nurses and nurse practitioners having an MSN degree to be a Nurse Educator or a Nurse Leader. With an MSN degree and the Post Masters Certificate in Nursing, you can work in research, public health, and advanced levels of nursing administration, as well as a nurse educator.
