We currently have dental openings for kids on Medicaid, from infants to age 18.

A child’s first dental visit is recommended by age 1, or within 6 months of their first tooth coming in. We accept Medicaid through Nebraska Total Care and UnitedHealthcare, and we are one of the few places Medicaid families can go for a child’s dental checkup.

If your child is starting at LPS, we can also help complete the required dental exam form. Summer schedules can fill up fast, so now is a good time to make an appointment before the new school year starts.

Nebraska is now enforcing work requirements for many Medicaid members. These requirements apply to able-bodied adults ages 19 to 64 who are enrolled in Medicaid expansion, also known as Heritage Health.

If you lost Medicaid coverage because you did not meet an exemption or complete the work requirement, you may qualify for our Sliding Fee Discount Program.
