For , Mike Sciandra, Executive Director of the Nebraska Council on Problem Gambling, submitted a record-breaking 20 proclamations, officially recognizing March as Problem Gambling Awareness Month statewide and in 19 cities that encompass 50% of Nebraskans.

We are very proud to spend time during Problem Gambling Awareness Month, and on one of the busiest sports betting days of the year, promoting reduction of gambling-related harm at multiple locations throughout Jefferson County.

State of Nebraska proclamation acquired!

Thanks to Governor Pillen and staff and everyone who showed up to support problem gambling awareness, prevention, and treatment in Nebraska.

To reduce gambling-related harm in Nebraska, a team effort is needed. To know all stakeholders are aligned in mission is an excellent start.

We are only a couple of days into Problem Gambling Awareness Month. Looking forward to maintaining momentum after a great start to the month!
