John and James Liu were the founders of the practice, and ten years ago were pioneers in LASIK here in the Midwest, purchasing the first Femtosecond Laser in the area, to assist with flap creation. This was a landmark improvement over flap-making with a steel blade. Since that time, the Liu brothers have remained ahead of the curve in obtaining the very latest technology in all steps of the iLASIK procedure, a huge advantage to patients wanting the very best system available for their eyes. Our optometrist, Dr. Staci Hanus, O.D., has extensive experience in pre and post-operative care of LASIK patients, and has worked closely with our LASIK surgeons since 2007. Our team of doctors and staff has common goals in mind, to treat each patient with professionalism and personalized care, with the ultimate goal of achieving the very best vision for our valued patients.
