Research shows people with low Vitamin D serum levels, have more severe symptoms and complications to COVID. Start dosing your family with Vitamin D. Many practitioners will say serum levels of 30nmol/L are desirable. I suggest 80nmols/L or more for optimal immune health. If you are concerned about your vitamin D levels, have your levels tested. We can order bloodwork in our office, or you can request a prescription from your Doctor. Living in the Midwest, we do not absorb enough sunshine to produce adequate Vitamin D levels. So always a good idea to supplement Vitamin D. Another supplement you can take right now for excellent viral immunity is Zinc. It is recommended 20 mg/ day for adults. Always remember children need lower doses.
14-18years: 10 mg/day
9-13 years: 8 mg/day
7 months to 3 years: 3 mg/day
