Happy Family Friday!

Brittani recently partnered with VIA Hospice, with Allison and Elizabeth, to host a fun BINGO event for the seniors at the Lincolnton Senior Center. We brought along snacks to share and had a great time calling out letters and numbers for each round of bingo. It was such a joyful and engaging experience, and seeing everyone have fun made it even more special. We truly enjoyed spending time with the seniors and are already looking forward to doing it again soon!

Happy Tuesday!

We were excited to share our photo submission highlighting with Marilyn White DON and delicious Potato Bar hosted by our amazing culinary team and Activity Department! Staff and residents enjoyed customizing their potatoes with a variety of tasty toppings, making it a fun and flavorful event for everyone. Even more special, the proceeds from this event are being split 50/50 to support our Alzheimer’s fundraising efforts and our Christmas party. It was a wonderful way to get together, enjoy great food, and give back to meaningful causes!

Happy Memorable Moment Monday!

Our activity department and residents enjoyed a unique and exciting Easter egg dyeing activity using Ziploc bags and a few drops of vibrant dye—then shaking them to watch the colors come to life! This creative twist not only sparked lots of laughter and conversation, but also encouraged movement and coordination, turning it into a fun exercise as well. With family members joining in the celebration, it became a heartwarming social event filled with color, connection, and Easter cheer.

Happy Family Friday!

Our residents had an amazing time enjoying our St. Patrick’s Day–themed “Pot of Gold” game! Laughter and excitement filled the room as everyone joined in, reaching, tossing, and moving to find the “gold” while upbeat Irish tunes played in the background. This fun and festive activity wasn’t just about celebration, it was designed to promote movement, improve coordination, and encourage social interaction in a joyful, engaging way. It was a wonderful blend of therapy and fun, leaving our residents smiling, energized, and full of holiday spirit!

Happy Tuesday!

We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a fun-filled, festive party that brought smiles all around! Our residents enjoyed an exciting game of bingo, complete with cheerful treat bags that added an extra touch of luck to the day. After the game, everyone delighted in themed goodies and sweet treats, followed by lively St. Patrick’s Day trivia that sparked laughter and friendly conversation. It was a heartwarming celebration full of joy, connection, and plenty of Irish spirit!

We had a great time hosting a Chili Cook-Off with our staff joining in on the fun! Everyone brought their best recipes, making it a tough and delicious competition. Congratulations to our winners—1st place went to Makayla, 2nd place to Kyle, and 3rd place to Carol! Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event so enjoyable for all.

Happy Tuesday!

During Crafty Corner, our residents had a wonderful time making beaded four-leaf clovers to wear throughout the month and in celebration of the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day. Using colorful beads, they created festive pins that brought out their creativity and holiday spirit. It was a fun and engaging activity that left everyone feeling lucky and proud to wear their handmade clovers.
