Happy Memorable Moment Monday!

Last week, the Lincolnton team, along with Steven Kerley (VPO) and Monica Quinlan (Regional HR Manager), surprised our incredible HRG, Hayley Bell, in honor of her 20 years of service at Lincolnton.

Happy Family Friday!

What a sweet time we had at Grandparents Sundae Funday! Families and their grandchildren gathered to enjoy oldies but goodies music while creating their very own masterpiece ice cream sundaes. Laughter, smiles, and lots of sprinkles filled the room as memories were made and enjoyed together. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special celebration of family, fun, and of course, ice cream!

Happy Thoughtful Thursday!

Christmas in Summer! On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the residents of the Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center engaged in a "Christmas in Summer" event, organized in collaboration with Mt. Lodge #19 and Lincoln Rebekah Lodge #163. The event included participation from children and featured various games, with prizes awarded. A key attraction was the appearance of Santa Claus in summer attire, providing photo opportunities and gifts. All residents received a gift from Santa, who, accompanied by his "elves," distributed presents throughout the facility. The event was well-received, with positive feedback from residents, Lodge members, and children.

Happy Tuesday!

Residents gathered in the courtyard for an engaging group activity featuring a variety of fun yard games, including wheelchair limbo, ring toss, and a Frisbee challenge to knock down the bottle. The beautiful weather provided the perfect backdrop for laughter, friendly competition, and social interaction. To ensure everyone stayed comfortable and refreshed, a variety of hydration options were offered throughout the activity, making the afternoon both enjoyable and health conscious.

Crafty Corner this week featured a step-by-step Sunflower Painting activity, where residents had the opportunity to express their creativity and explore their hidden artistic talents. Guided through each stage of the process, participants enjoyed bringing vibrant sunflowers to life on canvas while sharing smiles and conversation along the way. The activity not only encouraged self-expression but also fostered a sense of accomplishment, leaving residents proud of their beautiful, unique creations.
