Happy Family Friday!

We would like to give a special shout-out to Allison from VIA Hospice for providing a fantastic "Cheeseburger in Paradise" meal for our staff as part of our National Nursing Home Week celebration. Your generosity and support helped make the day extra special and gave our team an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal together. Thank you for helping us recognize and appreciate our amazing staff and all that they do each day.

Happy Thoughtful Thursday!

To kick off Nursing Home Week, Activity Director Nichol Adams invited Ed Hatley Mayor of Lincoln County to present a proclamation in recognition of our residents and staff. During his visit, he took time to thank everyone for their contributions and the important role they play in our community. The proclamation was proudly presented to Marilyn White, Director of Nursing, and Efren Whitehead, Interim Administrator, making it a meaningful start to a week dedicated to celebrating and honoring those who make our facility feel like home.

Happy Tuesday!

We held a beautiful Mother’s Day Tea Social for our residents and invited their families to join in the celebration. Everyone enjoyed a relaxing and memorable afternoon together featuring blooming tea, festive cupcakes, and beautiful roses presented to our mothers. The event provided a special opportunity to celebrate and honor the amazing mothers in our community while creating meaningful moments with loved ones.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, service, and dedication will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to all who have served and especially to those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we cherish every day.

From all of us at our Center, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Happy Family Friday!

We had a fun-filled week celebrating our amazing nurses during Nurses Week 2026 and showing our appreciation for all, they do each day. Throughout the week, we treated our nursing team with special moments including relaxing massages provided by Indigo Roots Massage for all shifts, complimentary coffee from our local friends at Grounded, exciting rewards and raffles, and a catered meal from Olive Garden. We are incredibly grateful for the compassion, dedication, and hard work our nurses provide to our residents every day. Thank you for everything you do and for being such an important part of our team. Happy Nurses Week!

Happy Thoughtful Thursday!

To celebrate “May the Fourth Be With You,” our residents created their very own edible nebula treats while enjoying fun Star Wars trivia and discussions. Everyone had a wonderful time getting creative, sharing laughs, and reminiscing about their favorite characters and movies. The unique treats were a big hit and made the celebration out of this world!
