Happy Family Friday!

We loved hosting this month’s LINK meeting at the Senior Center!
Brittani and Makayla brought Japanese food and welcomed Tonya, our great Rehab Manager, who shared information about our new Accelerated Care Plus therapy equipment. She did a fantastic job educating local home health agencies, competitors, and assisted living communities about how this advanced technology sets us apart and enhances patient outcomes.

We also had a little fun with some SNF trivia questions for door prizes!

Happy Thoughtful Thursday!

Our residents had a wonderful time creating Valentine’s cards to share with fellow residents, staff, and their families. They poured creativity and heartfelt messages into each card, spreading kindness throughout our facility. We were also delighted to have family members join in the activity, making it an even more special time of connection, laughter, and love.

We had such a wonderful time hosting a Meet & Greet to welcome our new Administrator, Rebecca Howe, to Lincolnton Rehabilitation! The turnout was amazing, and the room was filled with positive energy and great conversation.
While we didn’t capture many photos, the evening was full of laughter, connection, and excitement for what’s ahead. Our Valentine’s-themed décor made it even more special and added a fun, festive touch.

We’re looking forward to strengthening our partnerships with our outside resources and continuing to serve our community together!

In honor of National Puzzle Day, the Activity Team hosted a fun and meaningful craft where residents created heart-shaped wreaths using colorful puzzle pieces. Each wreath featured the sweet message “Love You to Pieces,” symbolizing how every individual piece—just like every resident—comes together to make something beautiful and complete. The activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and heartfelt conversation, while spreading smiles and a whole lot of love throughout the day.

February is Heart Health Month

At our Center, caring for the heart goes beyond clinical care — it’s about supporting the whole person. From nutritious meals and daily movement to medication management and wellness monitoring, our teams are committed to helping residents live heart-healthy lives every day.

Here are a few simple steps to protect your heart:

- Know your numbers — blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar
- Move your body for at least 30 minutes a day
- Choose heart-healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins
- Limit sodium and processed foods
- Stay hydrated
- Manage stress through rest, connection, and mindfulness
- Keep up with regular check-ups and medication as prescribed
