Tonight felt really special.
My family and I visited the monks during their resting place here in Charlotte before they continue their Walk for Peace in the morning.
They welcomed visitors this evening, and we were able to listen to their speech, sit in the stillness, and take in the depth of what they’re doing. Their words, their presence, and the intention behind this walk were filled with love, purpose, and meaning. It wasn’t loud or performative—it was grounded, sincere, and deeply human.
Being able to show up, witness their journey during this quiet pause, and personally say thank you was incredibly humbling. It was a reminder that peace is something we practice in small, intentional ways—step by step, moment by moment.
I’m really grateful we went. This is one of those experiences that stays with you. 🤍🙏
