Meet Dr. Steven Merahn, MD 🌟 – a veteran physician-executive with a passion for transforming healthcare! With extensive experience in care delivery redesign, system innovation, and person-centered care, Dr. Merahn is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for populations with complex health needs. At DriptIV, he ensures the scientific rationale and clinical foundation of services, develops policies and protocols, oversees quality programs, and advises on optimal care implementation.

He is the former Chief Medical Officer for US Medical Management, once the largest national home-based primary care network and ACO serving over 30,00 complex/fragile and disabled elderly in 12 states. Over the past decade, his focus has been on patients with functional limitations and in long-term care, including those with IDD, autism, mental health challenges, and frailty.

Dr. Merahn has held leadership roles at organizations such as Aetna, Clinovations, and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, leading clinical transformation initiatives and advocating for value-based care. He started his career at the NYC Department of Health, developing policies for maternal and child health.

A recognized thought leader on healthcare transformation and a passionate advocate for health equity, Dr. Merahn is also the author of Care Evolution: Essays on Health Care as a Social Imperative, promoting healthcare as a human endeavor rooted in collaboration and systems innovation.
