Heads up, neighbors! 🚧

Beginning the week of March 9, the south end of the park will close for construction through mid‑November 2026 as we begin a major renovation funded by an OSLAD (Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development) grant. Swipe to see the updated construction area map.

Our Story

The Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation Department, established in 1955, includes management of 13 parks, an aquatics center, and a 5,038 square foot community center. The Department offers a wide variety of programs and events for all ages, including aquatics, summer camps, adult fitness, after school programs, athletics, outdoor recreation and over 15 special events each year, including our Summer Concert Series on Thursday nights in Proesel Park in June and July.
