Positively Pediatrics "Make us a Baby Promotion" Reminder👶🍼

What if I already left a Google review in the past and can't leave another one?

For those of you that have left us a google review in the past and want to know how to enter (since you can only leave one): Leave us a Facebook review!

Another idea is to comment about on us in a Facebook group thread looking for a pediatrician and then leave a comment on one of our posts that you did it.

"Make Us a New Patient" promotion🥳
RULES: Leave us a review on Google (hopefully a 5⭐️) between now through Sunday February 8th and we will randomly pick a review to be the winner! The prize will be ready for pick-up on Tuesday 2/9. Hopefully that will give you time to make plans for Valentine's Day. While Google reviews are preferred, if you have already left us a Google review in the past (thank you very much!) -> You can leave us a Facebook or Instagram review. Leave us a message when you do! We will use any of those reviews between 1/27-2/8 toward the contest. Feel free to share this contest on your page!
PRIZE:
A romantic date night - $125 gift certificate for dinner🥩🍾 at a local restaurant, 1 bouquet of flowers🌹, $50 for the babysitter or pizza for the grandparents who will be watching the siblings of our future patient😉.
GRAND PRIZE:
If the lucky winners just happen to bring us a newborn patient (no pressure 😆) by the end of the year, they will get a $100 baby gift basket with diapers, outfits, and goodies as well as Dr. Purman will do a house call for their first baby visit!
Happy reviewing! Best of luck!!!

Day #3 reminder for our Positively Pediatrics date night promotion. 😁

I was reading through past reviews and reminiscing about all of the wonderful families we have. While the vast majority are 5 stars, I can't help notice the sprinkle of 1-⭐ reviews. It is never fun to see but there is a common theme to most of them: Dr. Purman loves and promotes vaccines and he likes when patients pay their bill. 😱

Guilty as charged. I don't think that is different from any other self-respecting pediatrician that follows science-based medicine and runs a business. Vaccines save lives (I have done the research 😉). If anyone has problems understanding a bill (or has trouble paying it), please reach out to us so that we can help. Positively Pediatrics didn't create this healthcare system - we just have to operate within it.

For the 1-⭐reviews concerning customer care, we are always striving to give you the best visit in a respectful, caring way. We will never stop trying to improve.

I can tell by the Valentine's Day decorations and candy in the grocery stores that it is time for my favorite Positively Pediatrics social media promotion.

Welcome to the 6th annual "Make us a Baby promotion"! Details are below but the gist is to leave us a google review and get entered into a random drawing for a night out on the town. What parent doesn't want a night out on the town?

MAHA….. more like HAHA since RFK Jr is making a joke of medical guidance for our country. Between the new direction of the FDA, CDC, and ACIP, this government has decided that using their personal agendas are more important than using science to promote health. Along with their misguided change in Hepatitis B birth dose recommendations, today’s new changes in vaccine recommendations will harm kids and undermine pediatricians trying to protect kids from preventable diseases.

Patients of Positively Pediatrics, please rest assured that we will continue to value science over ideology and will be following the AAP’s vaccine schedule. Vaccines are safe. Vaccines save lives. Vaccinated kids are healthier than unvaccinated kids. Preventing disease is better than curing disease. Kids that contract vaccine-preventable diseases cannot always be saved.

Statement by AAP President Dr. Andrew Racine on today’s HHS announcement about the childhood immunization schedule:

“Today’s announcement by federal health officials to arbitrarily stop recommending numerous routine childhood immunizations is dangerous and unnecessary. The longstanding, evidence-based approach that has guided the U.S. immunization review and recommendation process remains the best way to keep children healthy and protect against health complications and hospitalizations.

For decades, leading health experts, immunologists, and pediatricians have carefully reviewed new data and evidence as part of the immunization recommendation process, helping to keep newborns, infants, and children protected from diseases they could be exposed to in the United States as they develop and grow. Today’s decision, which was based on a brief review of other countries’ practices, upends this deliberate scientific process.

During this uncertain time, the AAP will continue to publish our own childhood vaccine recommendations.”

Happy 2026 Early Reminder!🎆
It is soon going to be a new year in 2026. With the new year comes updating patient charts. 😫
+ Please be sure to bring your new insurance cards and IDs so that we can make sure you child's chart is up to date. We want to make sure that we have the correct information so that you do not get stuck with a large medical bill.
+ Please call your insurance for any coordination of benefits (COOB) issues in a timely manner. It is a 5 minute phone call but it allows the insurance companies to sort out who pays first when a family has 2 insurances. Trust me - my biller would call for you if she could.
+ Please read our one page synopsis of our practice policies. It is full of good info and tips. The business of medicine and the inner workings of insurance is complex; we do not like surprises - why should you?

We can get through this process smoothly with your help and the hard work of my amazing front desk.

Gun violence in this country has been running rampant for quite some time and it touched our community yesterday. Many families were affected by the senseless violence against the church in Grand Blanc. Our hearts break (once again) for all of those families experiencing loss: Loss of a family member, loss of feeling of safety and protection, and the loss of a sense of order. Many families will have to try and explain to their children how things like this happen to people they know. There are no easy answers. Thoughts and prayers don't seem like enough especially when violence strikes a church.

Below are some resources for families that may help guide you when talking to your children. Hug your families tight in these times of need.
