I used to think “doing it myself” meant I was being responsible.
Loading four kids into the car.
Spending two hours in the warehouse.
Coming home overstimulated and exhausted.
Now? I value my time differently.
Yes, it costs a little more upfront.
But I’m not wandering aisles.
I’m not throwing random things in my cart.
I’m not buying $60 worth of things I didn’t plan for.
I stick to the list.
I get my Saturday back.
And somehow… I actually spend less.
It’s not about convenience.
It’s about being intentional.
