Ankle: Inflexibility and guilt. Ankles represent the ability to receive pleasure.

Knees: Knees problems hide an underlying sense of fear, worry and insecurity. Knees pain signals some reluctance or unwillingness to move forward or change direction especially when you feel un-supported by your family or community.

Wrists: How we handle our experiences and willingness to act. Devaluation- not being able to perform a function or task.

Elbows: The elbow represents the capacity for radical change in direction in what we do in our lives regarding our own path, our goals.

Hips: This region is also associated with our sacral chakra which processes emotions like fear, sadness, frustration, loss and worry. Fight, flight, freeze, fawn.

Neck: Fear and Repressed Self-Expression. Depression, anxiety, trust issues. Releasing other body emotions fully.

What’s also interesting about this muscle, is that when your inner thigh muscles (adductors) or psoas are too tight it can overstretch the piriformis and cause it to tighten and overcompensate to stabilize your hip movement.

Although it may seem counterintuitive, you have to stretch your inner leg muscles and strengthen the Piriformis. It’s a specially effective when you flex your hip joint at different angels and then practice abduction repetitions! Think Pilates exercises for the hips.

What are the energetic component of bone health?

I’ve been doing research and I go this from elementsofhealth.com

Bones give strength and support. If we see ourselves as having little or no support in the world of a physical, emotional or spiritual nature, our own foundation is weakened and the structure collapses in upon itself.

The underlying feeling may be that we are not supported or we are not supported well enough, that our foundations are not there. It might be that we worry about our job security, or how long we will be able to rent a particular house, what will happen to our kids in the future or whether our Super will be enough to give us the life we desire post-retirement.

This uncertainty about the future of life and of the planet is certainly what we see in the wider world and these are anxieties that plague us all. What is going to happen to me, to my family, to my world? Who will help, how do I live strong?

These underlying energetic worries can cause disease in our bones.
