I just finished listening to this amazing book by 💜 I don’t have the words to express the breadth and depth of her lived experience and the sharing of it combined with the wisdom of how she shared it. Just wow!

If you should choose to read or listen (read by the author - so good) be aware that it’s not an easy or unemotional experience to witness her story - especially if you too, have intense trauma.

I listened while walking, hiking, driving, snuggling up in a blanket under the sky. I’m still processing it and feeling deeply grateful for Stephanie’s vulnerability for writing this memoir.

Today I celebrate the fruition of a dream I’ve had and have been working toward for 5 years. I hosted my first Apprenticeship With Death retreat! 💃🏻🎉

The last year has been loads of work and intentional and sometimes intense focus. In many ways I am doing the Snoop Dog - “I’d like to thank me” 🤣 because I have taken the action.

And while I’m celebrating my efforts I’m also sitting in major gratitude for the people who have been part of this journey. Too many to name but in most direct relationship to the Apprentice With Death retreat is - Sora, thank you for being you! For your gentle yet direct nudging and guidance through LLCR and all of your work. 🌀

Bennie is 6 today. We celebrated with a haircut and a bath. He’s one of my tried and true friends. He listens to all my BS, doesn’t care that I’m a complete weirdo, and given the chance he wouldn’t run away. 😂 We have stories and adventures. Thanks for snoring and smacking all. the.time. 💜
