All set up for Empowered Birth!

Are you looking for an in-person, hands on birth class?

Empowered Birth takes traditional child birth education to a new level that creates a deeper, more real world understanding of what natural birth entails.

During this intimate, 2 hours in-person class, attendees will learn about how to navigate and manage labor stages, the anatomy of the pelvis and how a baby maneuvers throughout labor, hands on comfort measures for all birthing scenarios, and more.

Especially helpful for partners and spouses, Empowered Birth highlights the most important aspects of supporting physiological birth, how to avoid interventions, and also advocate for the birth vision of the family.

Doula Stephany brings over 7 years of experience, testimony, and guidance to this educational opportunity. This class will not only prepare you for what labor could bring but also build confidence between you and your partner to optimize your effectiveness as a team.

Classes are offered throughout the month at the Village Doula Office in C**n Rapids, mn.

My first official intern.

Savana joined me in November 2024.

We had the pleasure of meeting before the birth of her first baby boy. I adored her from day 1!

Having Savana come alongside me was such a pleasure. Her professionalism, patience, and trust in me only made her more of an incredible student. Prompt, reliable, and personable, Savana was easy to partner with. She connected seamlessly to my clients and was a calm presence in the birth space. Her vast knowledge and confidence will be a force to be reckoned with!

I am so proud of her hard work and dedication in becoming the incredible birth and postpartum doula that she now is.

Congratulations on completing The Village Doula Mentorship this previous May, 2025. You are an incredible asset to my team and I look forward to working together more in the near future!

I am honored to be joining her birth team for the birth of her second baby this fall!

Our team had a wild and fun time sorting through and organizing all the many donations we've been collecting these past few months for our first annual Community Baby Shower!

This event has been on my heart for many years. As teen single mother myself, community and resources are SO important for the success and sustainability of motherhood. Geared towards expecting mother in need, this event provides an opportunity to celebrate your pregnancy, relieve gifts and needed supplies, meet local doula's and feel supported.

Due to the extreme weather conditions predicted tomorrow, we will unfortunately be cancelling our outing! It is just simply too hot to be outside with our littles!

Sunday, June 22nd at 12:30 pm we will be gathering the Village Circle for an outing at Como Zoo and Conservatory!

All are welcome and siblings are encouraged to attend. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy alongside friends and visit all the animals ❤️

Another great Empowered Birth class!

This instigate class has been a delight to teach these last few years. You don't have to be a current client to take this class! Anyone can sign up for this class.

Currently it is offered the First Sunday of each month at 2:30pm and the third Wednesday at 4:30pm!
