‼️ATTENTION‼️

We are seeking a full time LPN/CMA at our Shakamak location 4 days per week!

Duties Include:
- Review provider schedule; ensure all related reports, labs, and all relevant information is available in patient’s electronic medical record (EMR) prior to their appointment;
- Es**rt patients to exam rooms, interview patients to determine chief complaint and history, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s EMR;
- Assist provider in exam room;
- Perform various nursing duties under supervision of provider;
- Prepare patients for examinations and performs routine screening tests;
- Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens;
- Provide patient education with regard to medications, management of diseased, home treatments, and special diets;
- Communicate instructions to patients as instructed by provider;
- Sanitize and prepare exam room for next patient;
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required;
- Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to providers;
- Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patients and pharmacies; update Nursing Communication Board accordingly;
- Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.);
- All other duties as assigned by provider, Site Manager, Clinical Director, or Medical Director.

Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds to waist height.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity in order to safely perform various skills and techniques.
- Must have visual and auditory acuity to assist in patient observation and intake.
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Must hold a CMA certification or LPN License

The recent tornado has devastated our community, leaving many without homes, power, or even basic necessities. Here are the ways that we can support those affected - whether through donations, supplies, or volunteer efforts. Every little bit helps, and together we can make a difference. ❤️

Linton Armory
Contact: Butch Porter, Baptists in Indiana, Disaster Relief Director. 618.499.2215
* There is still a need for volunteers to help with cleanup.
* Cleanup assistance is still needed. There are households still working on cleaning up properties. If you/your business/employees, etc. are wanting to volunteer, please see the Baptists in Indiana team members to register as a volunteer. They will then match you up with a household needing assistance. They have active work orders sitting waiting on volunteers.
* If you know someone who has been affected by the storm and still needs volunteers to help cleanup, please have them register with the Baptists in Indiana team and they will match volunteers to the work orders/needs.
* For those needing assistance, the volunteers are being assigned to help with getting the household back in order. (Meaning: Volunteers won't be assigned to cleanup a wooded area, large trees, etc.)
If you are volunteering, remember to dress work ready. Hard sole footwear, long pants, gloves, etc.

Health Department
* The Greene County Health Department will be onsite at the Armory through 3:30 PM Thursday.
* If you are/have volunteered with cleanup and have not had a tetanus shot within the last 5 years, it is recommended you get a shot.
* The GC Heath Dept will provide tetanus shots free of charge to anyone affected by the tornado or assisting in cleanup.
* After Thursday, you can report to the GC Heath Department in Bloomfield to receive your shot.
* GC Heath Department has a staff person onsite to assist tornado victims who have lost their birth certificates in the storm. They will be on site until 3:30 PM Thursday.

* Pickup is available at the Armory through today (maybe Thursday). After that, supplies are available for pickup at Linton First Christian Church. Below is a list of items available and still needed:
