Leslie Copp is our dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner! She sees patients at our Linton office every Monday and Tuesday, focusing on gynecological care and women’s health needs.

With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, Leslie brings deep compassion and expertise to every patient she sees. She is especially committed to providing trauma-informed care for victims of domestic and sexual violence, and is passionate about ensuring women in Greene County and surrounding areas receive the quality care they deserve.

‼️ATTENTION‼️

We are seeking a full time LPN/CMA at our Shakamak location 4 days per week!

Duties Include:
- Review provider schedule; ensure all related reports, labs, and all relevant information is available in patient’s electronic medical record (EMR) prior to their appointment;
- Es**rt patients to exam rooms, interview patients to determine chief complaint and history, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s EMR;
- Assist provider in exam room;
- Perform various nursing duties under supervision of provider;
- Prepare patients for examinations and performs routine screening tests;
- Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens;
- Provide patient education with regard to medications, management of diseased, home treatments, and special diets;
- Communicate instructions to patients as instructed by provider;
- Sanitize and prepare exam room for next patient;
- Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization as required;
- Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to providers;
- Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patients and pharmacies; update Nursing Communication Board accordingly;
- Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, oxygen, cold sterilization fluid change, etc.);
- All other duties as assigned by provider, Site Manager, Clinical Director, or Medical Director.

Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds to waist height.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity in order to safely perform various skills and techniques.
- Must have visual and auditory acuity to assist in patient observation and intake.
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Must hold a CMA certification or LPN License
