They are all the rage 💥 . You see your girlfriend and Wow! You cant believe how thin she is from a miracle drug! There are no miracles that come without a price . 💵 Medication is a tool . Diet and exercise first in line . 🍎 🏃🏻

With these weight loss drugs there are many “trades” including muscle mass snd skeletal bone mass loss so it is critical to prevent this especially over the age of 50 .
Side effects are real 💯

To prevent GLP-1 side effects, start with a low dose and increase slowly ("start low, go slow"), avoid fatty/spicy/sugary foods, eat small, frequent meals, stay very hydrated, and increase fiber gradually, always checking with your doctor and nutritionist for personalized guidance.

These strategies help your body adjust to the medication, reducing nausea, constipation, and fatigue.

✔️ Avoid Triggers: Steer clear of fried, greasy, spicy, sugary, and ultra-processed foods.
Small, Frequent Meals: Eat smaller portions more often to avoid overwhelming your digestive system.

✔️ Eat Slowly: Set your fork down between bites to eat mindfully.

✔️ Prioritize Protein & Fiber: Focus on lean protein shooting for a minimum of 100 grams per day . Protein water is a great way to add 20 grams protein while hydrating 💦 include fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, but add fiber slowly.
✔️ Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water (2-3 liters daily) and limit caffeine and alcohol.

✔️ Try Soothing Foods: Ginger or peppermint tea, crackers, and broths can help with nausea. Meds for nausea only mask how much food is not digested through a slow digestive proccess caused by the medication

✔️ Medication & Lifestyle
Start Low, Go Slow: Your doctor will likely start you on a low dose, slowly increasing it as your body adapts.

✔️ Stay Active: Gentle activity, like walking, can help with constipation. Cardio Exercise and resistance exercise will build muscle and help keep the weight off .

✔️ Monitor Electrolytes: If you're vomiting, ensure you get enough potassium (bananas, coconut water) and sodium (broth).

✔️ Nutritional guidance and accountability is the key to success as you lose the weight and stabilize without medications as your end goal . It can be easy , safe and healthy transition learning to maintain your new healthy body and new healthy weight 👏🏻👏🏻
