It is with Heaviest of Hearts that we announce the sudden & unexpected loss of our Founder & Longtime Captain, Ben Briggs. He has touched uncountable lives over the past 50 years of healing & service to our great community. A legendary man of many talents including being a healer, pharmacist, artist, poet, writer, musician, gardener, nature lover, environmentalist, father, adopted father, brother, friend & much more. Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers during this difficult time and thank you for sustaining us & allowing us to continue to serve you.
My Dad has taught me so many things in the 50 years I've had the honor of knowing & loving him like humility, family, love, hard work, empathy, community, and simply just to care about your fellow humans because we are all in this together.
He was my first & only Captain I've had the privilege to sail under on the Company Ship and it has been my greatest honor to be his First Mate for the past 25 years and can only hope that steering the Helm with come as easy as it did for him.
So, in closing,
Rest Easy Pop, may you sail off in calm seas to golden shores & the Great Beyond.

Tuition is $275 (add $20 for 11 CEs, including 1 Ethics credit)
$295 total represents a 10% discount for PSCSW members. Indicate that you are a PSCSW
member at the time of registration to receive this rate. Some scholarships are available.
Tuition includes Reiki: The Healing Touch, Level I and II Manual from the
International Center for Reiki Training
Once you have been accepted into the class, payment is due in full.

Clinical Social Work Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the class, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the history and philosophy of Reiki and its relevance to holistic healing.
2. Demonstrate Reiki hand placements used to support oneself and others.
3. Apply Reiki techniques to support self-regulation, grounding, and emotional resilience.
4. Identify appropriate boundaries and ethical considerations for integrating Reiki into clinical settings, in
alignment with the Codes of Ethics of the International Center for Reiki Training and the National
Association of Social Workers.
5. Explain the physiological and psychological benefits of Reiki through a trauma-informed lens.
6. Reflect on personal energy awareness and how it affects clinical presence and therapeutic alliance.
11 Continuing Education Credits are expected to be approved for Social Workers, Professional
Counselors and Marriage and Family Counselors in PA and Social Workers in NJ.
