Pitchers, don’t forget that your flat ground overhand throwing motion needs to be mechanically sound, too. Here is Bella (XLR8) working on her overhand throw. I have worked with her in the past and got to catch up with her again in LA last weekend. She now has “homework“ for her pitching and overhand throwing mechanics. I know she will get it done!

This young lady is, by far, the most improved pitcher of the month. Earlier this week, Alyssa brought her “A game” and put it all together. Lots of hard work paying off!

Zoe (Voodoo 16u) has improved so much since I saw her last, 6 years ago. We made some “tweaks” to her mechanics and she is well on her way to continued improvement. Here, she works on front side resistance with a leap and push back drill. Watch out for this young lady!

I met Nola for the first time in LA this past weekend. She is a beginner pitcher with a huge upside. She is super smart and a hard worker. Nothing but good things to come for this lefty!

Thanks to Jesse Barksdale and the Louisiana Voodoo for the opportunity to work with some of their pitchers this past weekend. It was refreshing. Their athletes are hungry and so open to trying new things. It was definitely one of the most enjoyable clinics that I’ve been a part of. I have no doubt that they’re going to work hard and I look forward to seeing their improvement the next time.

Got to catch up with Jennie Finch Daigle and her father/pitching coach, Doug yesterday. These two have influenced my research and pitching instruction career beyond words. I have learned that it is possible to stay healthy and pitch at the highest level. Grateful!!

Hallee (Parker County Royals 10u) was smart, in my opinion, and took a few weeks off once her season ended. Turns out she did not forget how to pitch (!) and came back tonight stronger than ever. Pound for pound, one of the best I’ve ever worked with!

Check out Everleigh (BC Fastpitch Jacobson) working on arm speed. This young lady has unlimited potential. If she stays the course, she will be one of the best in her age group every year.

Here’s another young lady who has been working very hard. Henley (Diamond Express) has continued to improve since we started working together 2 years ago. She is having success in tournaments and her speed and spin rate continue to increase. Keep working, girl!
