This is what it’s all about- when a 10u pitcher meets a HS pitcher during back-to-back pitching lessons and immediately a role model is found. Recently, Hallee (PC Royals) went to a local high school game to watch Gator (Brock HS) pitch. Good for the game and good for the girls!

Abigail (Weatherford Christian School) has been working hard to make her mechanics the most smooth and efficient possible. Each week she is making good progress. Seven weeks ago she was a beginner pitcher and now she is pitching in Varsity HS softball games! Kudos to her!!

Henley’s (Diamond Express) been working super hard on tightening up her mechanics. She is working on exploding into the pitch with her legs, arm speed and tightening up ball spin. When we measured her spin rate last night, it had improved significantly. Keep up the hard work, young lady! Your mechanics are looking pretty.

Madelynn (Weatherford Elite) came in for a tuneup last night and totally crushed it. Within 20 minutes she had made small “tweaks“ to her mechanics and got right back on track. She is super smart and works very hard. These two things combined to allowed her to shine. Good job, girl!

Audrey (MVP) continues to work hard on pitching mechanics. She gets better and better every time I see her keep working, girl! It is paying off!!

Got to see Hallee play yesterday. As always, she gave it 100% effort. Always proud of this young lady’s performances!

Here’s Finley (PC Havoc 2k16) working on arm speed last night with a no ball drill. She is one of the the hardest workers right now and has come so far. She’s still 10u, so she has tons of time to work on things, but her mechanics have really tightened up in the last month or two. Hard work does pay off! Keep up the great work, Fin!!

Here, Kaia works on her pretty mechanics without a ball. Especially with younger athletes, drilling without a ball is invaluable. We find that when the “target” and fear of failure are taken away, the pitcher tends to move more quickly and efficiently. Kaia is only 8, but is preparing for when 10u rolls around. She is amazing!

Got to see Brinley and Charly (Weathford Christian School JH) play their first home game this week. They played well with 100% effort. Especially considering that they haven’t even reached junior high yet, they played very well. So proud of both of them!

Got to witness the first ever HOME games for Weatherford Christian School Softball yesterday.  Thanks to the hard work of Coach Foreman, the teams got to hear their names announced before the game and take to their own field. Congrats WCS Softball!
