Another recent addition to the SW Throwing Academy is Alyssa (Santo Wildcats). I can tell that she is going to be a hard worker and I look forward to seeing her again after a couple of weeks of “homework.“

So far, my favorite Halloween softball uniforms. Here’s Henley, Cami and Raelee sporting their “Pretty Little Liars” best. The uni’s seemed to up their games, since all three of them performed extremely well last weekend. Great creativity, girls! Love it.

Hard work pays off! Jazzy (SoCo Sluggers) proved that last week at only her 2nd pitching lesson. She took care of business, was consistent with her homework and came in ready to take it to the next level. Keep up the great work, girl! Great example for all athletes.

Caden (Dallas Tigers) is one of the most recent additions to the SW Throwing Academy. He is a charismatic young man and has a super strong arm. With a little “homework“ I think he will be incredible at his young age. Here he demonstrates a balance and throw drill without a ball. As an athlete is learning a new skill or tweaking mechanics, repetitions without a ball are very helpful. They allow more reps to be done without stressing the arm.

Layla (Parker County Royals) joined the SW Throwing Academy yesterday with her first ever pitching lesson. She learned extremely quickly and looked great after 30 minutes! I am excited for her and look forward to great things from her!!

Hayden (TX Grit) is one of the most recent additions to the SW Throwing Academy. Here she tries her first “hop and go” drill, aimed at increasing explosiveness from the back side. She is super smart and picked up suggestions very quickly. I look forward to working with her again!

Got to see Hallee, Sophia, Raelee and Henley play this past weekend. The Parker County Royals won the 10u NTX Sportz Championship and DEX won the 12u Championship. Congratulations! It was great to see you guys play hard, play well and have fun!!
