This is something I frequently have to remind myself.
Most things that need attention don’t just “get better” on their own.
Whether it’s fixing something in your home, giving a relationship some care, or addressing a health or fitness priority—when things are important, it’s important to take some action.
And the costs of doing nothing and hoping these things will spontaneously improve?
❌ Money - it’s more costly to fix something you let get bigger/worse.
❌ Time - waiting often just wastes time that could have resulted in improvement.
❌ Self-respect - you know you could have done something and you make the choice not to do it.
❌ Results - you’re no further ahead, things didn’t get better and here you still are.
Instead:
✅ Take some action.
✅ Do something.
✅ Get some help.
✅ Make a plan.
✅ Just start.
