ATTENTION IN THE PITS!!!!
Skyview Raceway is postponing their moto-x race this weekend due to the weather not looking very well Saturday or Sunday. When we get a rescheduled date, we will let everyone know. Our club would like to give the riders an awesome track to ride.

SMC Benefit Ride

To all CRA riders and their families. As many of you may already know, we had two serious injuries to members of our racing family occur at the Skyview motocross. Both young men are huge racing enthusiasts and love our sport immensely.

Nate Davis and Conner Smith were injured in separate incidents that required them to be life flighted from the race track. This is an unfortunate outcome for both young men, but while the journey will take time, both are on the road to recovery. With faith and support of family and friends, both riders are looking at a bright future.

While everyone who puts a wheel on the track knows of the risks involved, you can never be prepared for every situation. Both of these young men and their families are facing unexpected and costly medical expenses, and that is where our extended racing family can help someone in need.

This Saturday, November 6th, Salem Motorcycle Club will host a benefit ride at Skyview Raceway for Nate and Conner, with all proceeds going to the families to help offset medical expenses incurred from their injuries. Club members will set up a woods loop for those who wish to hone their harescramble skills, and also full use of the motocross track for everyone to get in some practice laps.

The benefit ride will take place 11:00-5:00, with a $5 donation per person at the gate and $25 fee per rider. There will be some food and drinks available at the concession stand.

All the racers and spectators who attend our races are part of the CRA family. Hopefully you’ll be able to attend the benefit ride and help two of our racing brothers with their medical expenses. The weather is shaping up to be perfect on Saturday, so get out and get some seat time, and lend a hand to our fellow racers. See you Saturday!!!!

Big Game Raceway is sorry to announce but we are going to cancel tomorrow May 9, 2021 race. With all the rain we have gotten all week and they are calling for more tomorrow. We are going to try and make this race up later on if everything works out. We tried to change the location to a place of our own but we can’t get in the field to park and we don’t want to damage anybody else’s property. So we are truly sorry!!!

We are CANCELING Sunday May 9, 2021 race!!!

I am sharing this post for the CRA for those who do not get on the CRA Website!!

Due to a printing error on our schedules, in which a Lightning race was not listed as a Buckeye series event, we have decided to add an additional race to the series. After lengthy discussion at the CRA meeting last night, we feel that the best way to address this that will be fair for all is to add another race. This will make a total of six races for the series, but only your best four will count towards series awards. So if you are one of those riders who skipped the Lightning race because of the scheduling error, you will now be able to remain in the points chase. If you did race the Lightning event and had a bad race at some point in the series, this gives you the possibility of improving your position. The additional Buckeye series race will be the annual Sweatshirt race November 25th at Lightning.

I would like to just set things straight, I hear there are rumors going around that Salem Motorcycle Club is not going to be in CRA in 2018. THAT IS ONLY A RUMOR. NOT SURE WHO STARTED IT BUT WE HAVE AN IDEA. PEOPLE NEED TO MIND THERE OWN BUSINESS IF THEY DON'T HAVE FACTS.
