OCD & Anxiety Solutions (OAS), a fee-for-service specialty psychology practice located in Chicago’s west suburbs, is looking for a licensed mental health professional who possesses a passion for working with kids, teens, and adults who are struggling with Anxiety- and OCD-related presenting problems, as well as co-occurring issues (e.g., depression, Tics/Tourette’s, body-focused repetitive behaviors). OAS offers evidence-based, cutting-edge Cognitive-Behavioral and Exposure-Based treatment interventions to ensure our patients receive the most effective care possible! Previous experience with CBT and Exposure Therapy is preferred, but not necessary…training, supervision with practice owner, and continuing education are provided on an ongoing basis! OAS patients are typically highly-motivated individuals with excellent support systems, and with the right guidance from OAS specialists, they get the results they are looking for! Treatment is provided wherever anxiety interferes with life (e.g., schools, home-based, community), and can be administered either in-person or virtually. Treatment frequency is based on need, and can be provided intensively up to several times per week. Close work with families and support systems is a vital part of treatment to ensure progress and success. Please include CV and cover letter when applying.
Preferred candidates will possess the following:
• Master’s or Doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, school counseling, or related field
• Fully-licensed in related field. Will accept provisionally-licensed LPC.
• Knowledge and experience with CBT and Exposure Therapy. Willing to train less-experienced professionals with a willingness to learn and grow!
• Team-oriented and willing to work closely with other professionals, both within and external to OAS
• Motivated self-starter who is willing to push themselves outside of their comfort zone
• Sense of humor, ability to think on the fly, flexible, kind and supportive
