Every year the 100 Club of Illinois creates an excellent space at their Frontline conference for learning, collaborating, and connecting to identify the best opportunities for first responders and providers to support the emotional wellness of first responders and their families! We're thankful to be a part of generating and discussing ideas, nurturing connection, and supporting other providers. This years year's conference was their biggest yet!

We’ve been hard at work alongside our community—raising awareness about mental health, honoring the unique experiences of first responders, and helping others see just how deeply emotional wellness shapes our overall health. 💙

As part of this effort, we worked with one of our partners to design and present a First Responder Family Workshop for their agency—created specifically to support the spouses, partners, and loved ones who stand behind those who serve. Together, we’re opening conversations, building understanding, and helping families strengthen their resilience and connection. 🌿

Every step forward reminds us that healing happens best when we walk it together. 💛

Today, I came across something truly inspiring. The Oxford, Wisconsin VFW hosted their 4th annual Fireball Run, raising funds for the University of Wisconsin–Madison MIA Recovery and Identification Project.

Because Wisconsin does not yet have legislation to fund efforts to identify and bring home service members killed in action, Post 6003 has stepped up in a powerful way—helping ensure our fallen heroes are never forgotten. Their efforts even provide opportunities to accompany service members as they are brought home to their families.

💙 A huge thank-you to the Oxford VFW for honoring our nation’s heroes with such dedication and compassion.

Please join us for the last event in our free summer series raising awareness for veterans assistance programs at Hudson Park.

Starting at 8am
🕘 Walkers and ruckers go first, followed by runners.
👕 If you joined all three events, don’t forget to pick up your T-shirt!
📣 Open to the public. You don’t have to run, walk, or ruck to be involved, we welcome everyone! Local organizations will be there with info and resources for veterans and their families. Stop by before you go to the Oswego Country Market!
