Join Angie's Place for upcoming events and show active duty and veteran populations some real love. It's like a high-five, but with more impact (and maybe less awkwardness).

Saturday, July 26 at Hennessy's River View Ford, Oswego for the USO BBQ for the Troops! While you enjoy some free lunch, please consider donating to the USO, so they can continue taking care of our active duty military. We also encourage active duty members, veterans and family members to stop by the Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County table, to learn about valuable resources.

Rumor has it that Oswego Fire Protection District is stopping by to make sure our grilling techniques don't get out of control. 🚒

What a great turn out at the 1st Run-Walk-Ruck events put on by Village of Oswego Police, IL, Oswego Fire Protection District and Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County!

We met some excellent Veterans, First Responders and family members! Clark and Cristie were lucky enough to post up in the shade, while the 80+ participants turned on "beast-mode" and got it done.

Definitely looking forward to the 2nd Run-Walk-Ruck event on Sunday, July 27th. Please come out and join us, Oswego American Legion Post 675, CrossFit Oswego, and Support Over Stigma!

We had a blast volunteering with Heroes on the Water - Chicago Illinois Chapter! They have FREE monthly events for Veterans, First Responders and their families. All you have to do is show up, and they'll provide the rest! A great way to meet people, learn about kayaking and fishing, or just enjoy some time on the water. Thanks again Jeremy Eaton!
