On July 14, 2025, CMS released the proposed CY 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) rule, outlining payment updates for physician and clinician services. As a result of AADSM advocacy and efforts, CMS did not propose any changes in the CY 2026 rule—oral appliances will remain under the DME benefit. AADSM will continue to monitor future proposals that could impact member services to Medicare beneficiaries.
