Year after year, I am mind blown that my career has allowed me into “the room where it happened”…witnessing over 1,000 sweet babies being ushered into the world by triumphant mothers & amazing families! Even with all the preparation…sometimes plans change and you meet your sweet baby in a way you had hoped to avoid. My goal is to sit in that limbo with you - of grief & joy - to allow you to weep for the birth you didn’t get to experience, while your heart bursts with love for this new little person! Because “healthy mom, healthy baby” is not the language we speak here…and how a mother is listened to and seen in these new moments of motherhood means everything! ✨✨✨

I’m thrilled to bring back our next speaker in our Expert Series at our New Mama Group!!! Come meet an incredible chiropractor (who my entire family sees, including my babes, since they were each 3 days old!!), Dr. Will Vogds, who practices a form of chiropractic care that many have never experienced. We are welcoming expectant mamas to the group this week too, because adjustments in pregnancy are sooooo important, as well!!

I just adore this testimonial from a mom who attended the workshop -
My daughter and I took the Mom & Me Menstration Class.
At first I was hesitant, the cost seemed high for “something I could say for Free” but we took the risk. Let me tell you, I learned almost as much as my daughter! Carrie was so thorough and thoughtful when she spoke. Being careful to inform without scaring and making sure everyone learned about their changing bodies and what each part of their bodies do. They learned about puberty changes to their bodies and hygenic information (which my daughter took much better from a ‘Teacher’ vs just Mom). They learned about several options for period protection and why each might be the right one for them. And much more!
I left so impressed, educated and mostly excited that I didn’t have to do “The Talk”! It did however open a wonderful line of communication between my daughter and I.
A little over a year after we did the class I got a text from my daughter “I got my Period”
I internally freaked out (and felt bad I wasn’t there), I called her and trying to stay calm asked if she was ok? She said “Mom, we did that class, I’m prepared” She was cool as a cucumber! I couldn’t believe it! She was calm and knew how to talk about all the issues she was facing.
I am so grateful for Carrie and this class! It has made this crazy confusing time of life So Much Easier! I highly recommend this class! It’s worth every penny!
